Has this functionality fallen by the wayside, or is it only temporarily out of order?
It really was very cool you know :D
-
It works in the latest builds. I'm using 251.
Play an audio file with cover art.
Go to Playing Now.
Set 3D visualizations.
Choose Image Cube.
-
Yup. That side of things works a-ok here.
I should have been more specific......
In w00t's early days, if there were images Q'd in the image playlist, then you played some audio tracks, the picture cube would use images from the image playlist rather than the album art. The current build is no longer doing this for me?

I was gonna post exactly the same question. This was a really ice feature of early w00t. Please bring it back if possible for those of us who were there at the beginning :)

Glad you guys posted this as well...it was really cool to see your own picture spinning around in the earlier versions.

It's gone for now, but should return eventually.
w00t on.
-
awwww :'( :D
"eventually" suggests to me you got your hands kinda full right now with a long "todo" list.
It's a shame it's not there, but obviously not showstopping stuff. Thanks for the confirmation and tia for it's eventual return.

Any news on this one?
-
It's there on my system - it just runs like a dog.

It's there on mine too. Does yours lay images from the image playback list onto the cube?

Sorry Marko. I admit I didn't read the thread thoroughly. I remember w00t being completely removed in a 9.1 beta and then brought back later. I mistakenly thought that was what the thread was referring to. Apologies.
