Title: What a is Power User?

What is a power user?  I got a pop up about not being a power user, and now I guess I'm a guest.  I can no longer update the TV guide, and I don't know if other things are inhibited.   I am in my trial period, and have 5 days left and still many issues to resolve.  I am using MC21, updated from MC 20 a couple days ago.

Never had that one myself. I'm guessing that this could be the same as a user with Administrator Privileges...   ?

You haven't been setting up a user account under MC have you?

I think, but am not 100% certain, this happens if you run mc without administrator privileges and use the wdm driver.

If you say no to the uac pop-up then it gives you that power user dialogue box.

Exactly. But WDM doesn't matter.

I never really figured this out.  I uninstalled MC20, and then uninstalled/reinstalled MC21.  That seems to have fixed the problem.  I have seen the message again or any other bad behavior.
