Title: igdkmd64.sys video_tdr_failure
Post by: Manfred on September 06, 2015, 10:55:28 am
Hi,

I got the following failure message several times this day:igdkmd64.sys video_tdr_failure ending with a bluescreen.

Red October Standard
1. Navigating in Theater View
2. Navigating You Tube in Theater View

If I go to Red October HQ with standard settings given by JRiver and starting a video, it leads to the same error message (not always)

I have i7-4770T with HD4600, Windows 10, Driver is the latest Iris Pro/HD4600: 10.18.15.4256

Any ideas?

Make sure you have the latest driver.

Did you try Googling "igdkmd64.sys video_tdr_failure"?
There are like 40 pages on this problem. I think you will find an answer quicker going to the video card manufacturers website/forum.

Good luck

It is the latest driver version.

Yes, I have looked first in the Web - the problem seems between intel and if you had some Nvidia drivers installed before? (I had an GTX 750 TI removed from my HTPC all NVIDIA driver uninstalled). But up to now I have not found an answer.  (May be roll back to an older version https://communities.intel.com/thread/78228 (https://communities.intel.com/thread/78228) will help?). It's an intel problem. I hoped somebody in the forum had the same issue and found a solution  :)

Hi

I used Guru3D Display Driver Uninstaller to clean up the NVIDIA stuff and applied that also to intel driver. Downloaded the intel driver from their download center (not using the intel update driver utility - used that before but to some comments on the web this could make the problems) and made a fresh install. Seems to work  :)
