Post by: danhardison on September 06, 2015, 10:59:17 pm
Hello,
Is there a package for Debian Wheezy 64bit?
It's not ARM is it?

We don't provide a AMD64 package for wheezy, sorry. I recommend you upgrade to jessie, as thats our target for AMD64 users now.
Otherwise you could use the 32-bit Wheezy package if your system is multilib.

Thanks. Yeah, I already made that decision (i.e. to use Jessie). The main reason I went down the Wheezy path was this article I was trying to follow:

http://www.24bit96.com/usb-computer-audio-system/usb-audio-with-lowlatency-realtime-kernel-with-debian-and-mpd.html (http://www.24bit96.com/usb-computer-audio-system/usb-audio-with-lowlatency-realtime-kernel-with-debian-and-mpd.html)

I don't know how important the real time kernel is, but Jessie doesn't appear to have one.

Cheers,
Dan
