I am trying to get tv info for Pawn Stars.
TVDB has all this info but when I start the operation it comes up no info available.
Is there a way I can force this to work ?

There's a sticky at the top of the TV board that I contributed to, here:
TV / DVR Resources (https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=90998.0)
Check out some of the relevant Wiki topics and see how you go.

From memory, specifically;
Select one known episode of Pawn Stars (I assume you are looking up the American version, http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=111051 )
Do a Get Movie & TV Info on it. If the search name that comes up isn't "Pawn Stars" because it has other info in there, change it to just "Pawn Stars" (no quotes). Select the correct program, and save (use) that info.
Now MC should know the series ID from TheTVDB, which I think is 111051. Check this by looking at the tag called "TheTVDB Series ID" for the episode you looked up.
Select a few episodes and do a Get Movie & TV Info on them. As you aren't doing an individual lookup, MC should just process them all automatically, and should use the correct Series ID, 111051.
If that all worked, select your remaining episodes and process them all using Get Movie & TV Info. As long as the Season and Episode numbers are all present for those episodes, all the metadata should be collected for you.

look up produces No information available from the selected result.

You are correct.
I did a quick and dirty lookup since I don't have any recordings of the program, and it didn't work, even though TheTVDB has information on it.
Something isn't working with a "Get Movie & TV Info" for that series. I don't know what it is. No time now to look further.

Thats what I thought, the info is available but the function of get movie & tv is not working

Ah ha! I have the answer.
Some idiot set up the America Pawn Stars series using the Year aired instead of the Season number.
So you need to change the search criteria when you look up Pawn Stars to the appropriate year, as per the image attached. That will get you the correct information.
You could just change the Season tag in MC for Season 1 to 2009, 2 to 2010, and so on, or you could just change the search criteria when you do the lookup itself, and leave the Season number as 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.
If you just change the search criteria, you will need to do the lookup one episode at a time.
If you change the Season tag for all Season 1 episodes to 2009, you could look up the whole season at once. This probably the easiest and best solution, as it will work for all lookups.
Unfortunately if your EPG data has Season numbers instead of years, then the automatic lookup done when the program is recorded and imported won't work. You will have to intervene using one of the above methods. Again, probably just changing the Season number to the Season year would be easiest.
See how you go with that information.

fantastic work thank you so much for your help ;)

TVDB has quite a few series with Season tags like that, BBC Horizon for example. I think it happens when a show doesn't have clearly delineated seasons. Horizon, for example, is very "spotty". They'll release a few episodes, take 3 months off, then release a few more, and so on.
