1 -2 or 4 HDMI models available, along with USB ones.
Should support anything below 4k, directshow compatible, very low latency, looks promising on paper, but expensive to test.
I'm trying to know if anyone had a chance to try it with MC, for external blu ray or console playback...
I'd appreciate any advice/feedback.

I have not tried that card.
Be aware that you may have a problem with HDCP if you try to capture any thing from cable, Sat, or streaming. I have a Hauppauge Capture card and I had to use an HDCP stripper to use it (to capture some DTV and Netflix stuff), but then the audio and video where a little out of sync. it ended up being more trouble than it was worth.

I work for a software company, and we exclusively recommend Magewell cards. They work well. As far as HDCP goes...contact Magewell, the pro series cards have ways to work around HDCP. I have been asked not to give this info out (how to do it) by our rep, so I can not tell you, which is why I suggest contacting Magewell.

I should say also, that I have not used it with JRiver. So I don't know how that would work.

Nice to know, thanks guys

can they capture multichannel audio?

Per this link :

Up to 8 channel audio. I don't do much with audio so I have no direct experience.

Hey sorry to dig up an old post but I think I'm too new to PM
muzicman0 could you PM me the info on Magwell and HDCP? What model exactly and what steps. Thanks a ton!

I work for a software company, and we exclusively recommend Magewell cards. They work well. As far as HDCP goes...PM me, and I will tell you how to make the Magewell cards work with HDCP sources (only on the 1080p PCIe - the 4k cards, and the USB don't have this 'feature').
Hi @muzicman0 , I've recently purchased the Eco 1080p Dual HDMI, and came across this forum and seeing your post I would love to know how you managed to bypass this HDCP protection. I look forward to your reply or PM, thanks!
