Title: Microscopic Font Size
Post by: SMO on April 03, 2018, 10:25:53 pm
I was trying to increase the font size, in one of the settings called font.
I clicked on it and window opened. there was a slider bar on the left for font size, I moved it downward to the bigger font size and clicked save. the window closed and then I closed the options window.
when it returned to the main screen the fonts are microscopic, so small I cant read them, the bar across the top with File, edit, view, etc is normal but when you click on one the lists are microscopic.
i tried to reinstall the program and the fonts are still unreadable, i cant get back to the font settings

how can i reset this program back to defaults, again everything in the program interface is microscopic
and unreadable.

i just downloaded this for a trial 2 days ago 23.0.103 ( i think ) OSX High Sierra

There are options under the View menu for Size and Retina Mode.  Please try them, just to see if you can re-gain control.

Uninstalling and reinstalling would probably work.

The problem is the menu fonts size is so small, I cant read it to even chose anything
I tried to just click on the menu box and the window that opened was so small it was unreadable
I tried to ZOOM in and the text was just unreadable dots.

I did uninstall and reinstall, and the text was still the same.

I'm new to the mac, I was told that to uninstall a program i just delete the program from the
application folder, are there other files somewhere to delete that might store this font
setting? thanks

You can get to Options by using CMD-O (letter O)

Then use the search window at the bottom of options to search for font.

The one you want is under Tree & View.
