My best guess is shortly into the new year. There were a very large number of changes made to the Mac 25 code base to get it stable with the newer Mac compilers that are necessary for Catalina.  These all need to merged into the MC26 code base and tested first.

I did the early subscription thing for MC26, I was on MC24, switched to MC25 while waiting. I keep getting "Your trial has expired, do you want to purchase?" Tired of reinstating it - any solutions while waiting for MC26?

I cannot reactivate because the code given to me is for 24, not 25. This happened before. I would have waited for 26 if I had known. Help please?

I looked for your licenses and MC24 is the latest I see.  Try using older email addresses on the Restore Page.

Please if you can just make it automatically import my library and settings for 25 without me having to know anything that would be great.  Always seems to be an upgrade hassle between major versions.  In my ideal world I would just open 26 the first time it would say it found my libraries and settings from 25 would I like to use those and i'd be done.

Honestly, it's not that hard to do a library backup in MC25 and restore the library backup in MC26 if MC26 on Mac doesn't pick up on the previous MC's settings.

I have never had MC pick up my previous Versions library or settings when running Mac or Linux. I thought that was a Windows thing. However, it would be a nice feature to have, but if coding is extensive, probably not worth the effort.
I agree that backing up and restoring library is relatively painless, and I believe now thumbnails are also restored.

The Linux version and the Mac version are closely related, except for recent Apple compiler problems.

We'll post it on Compuserve first.
