  iOS ... layout has changed.

I agree!! Is anyone looking at this?? One would think it's a high priority. But obviously, that's not the case.

Patience, JRiver is on break until the 6th, and even then JRiver (Bob) has been having trouble reproducing these issues in the iOS simulator.

So it'll probably take some time.

The iPad Pro 11 has been out for more than a year and JRemote still hasn't been updated to support it. Don't expect things to happen quickly. The iPad version of the app displays less information about the currently-playing items than the iPhone version too.
The app probably needs a total rewrite like the Android version.
Unfortunately JRiver have been focused on web apps for the past year or two - and those also don't work properly on iOS.
