Title: Would you be interested in a high end wireless volume knob for JRiver?
Post by: dstein on April 09, 2020, 02:04:24 pm
Hi, it was @kr4 that suggested to me about adding JRiver support to a bluetooth dial/knob I've been designing.

I'd like to know if there other people who might be interested in such a product. This will be quite a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Dial (a bit more expensive though), longer range, all aluminum, synchronized RGB indication LEDs, and more functionality.  It has an extra button and can do multi-dial actions (push the knob and spin, or push the button and spin). If programmed correctly it can do volume, mute, play/pause, seeking.  I've done a more involved integration to Kodi Media Center where it can also navigate and select movies and songs.

If there's enough people who are interested in JRiver support I'd be happy to start working on it.
