Title: Volume jumping between audio playlists/tracks?!!
Post by: soulinthemachine on November 05, 2020, 09:49:58 pm
Hi,

Been an avid JRiver fan for a while, but this has been happening and I'm starting to think it is a bug that maybe got fixed with the updates from version 24? Please advise...
I'm using a Roland Octa-Capture for an external soundcard for my headphone output. On OSX High Sierra 10.13.6 for reference. I have my System Preferences set for the Octa-Capture for input and output, but SOMETIMES when I switch between tracks or even to a different audio playlist, the volume in the yellow/orange bar in the upper left "jumps" to 100%! There is a lag where the audio has not jumped with it so thank goodness I can quickly mute my audio card, but if I click on anything in the interface, the audio will jump to that 100%. This is a very dangerous bug. It happens even with Volume Protection On and regardless if I am in System or Internal Volume. Please advise if this has been fixed in the update. Thank you
