Title: Wake On Lan with JRemote
Post by: Denti on August 25, 2021, 02:53:04 pm
My new HTPC wakes from sleep mode with a touch of a button from my main remote (sending Windows Media signals to MC) when I want to watch a movie or show. But I can't figure out how to get the HTPC to wake when I just want to listen to music, for which I use J.Remote on my iphone. Is the "Wake" button supposed to actually work? It would be nice if I didn't have to use two remotes to get music playing.

Yes the wake button is supposed to work. Of course your HTPC has to support wake-on-lan and it has to be enabled, usually in the bios.
