I recently reinstalled my macbook (an older 2014 MBP retina) since it was unbearably slow. I also reinstalled JRiver, imported my library backup from my windows machine to get my custom settings, fields, etc, removed all files from the library (filepaths are different on the macbook of course). This procedure worked well previously. However, this time around, files are duplicated many, many times in the library. My library size shot up from 34000 files to 76000. Not all are duplicated, but some files have ten or more copies. The entries seem to be exactly identical, including the file paths.
No idea what caused this. I'm running Mojave, and the hard drive is formatted with a case sensitive filesystem. Any ideas how to solve this?
