The ports I use to connect to MC are different between my LAN and WAN (I do not have control over this) so currently I have to create two different server entries in JRemote2 and switch between them based on my location. This causes a bunch of lag on startup because I have to wait for the timeout to fail, etc.
If I could specify a different port for my external IP then JRemote2 would work seamlessly for me.
Thanks!

If you use the Access Key, it should take care of this.

Unfortunately I don't think so, I'm using the access key here:

...as you can see there is only one port provided by the key, the default.
Also, I don't know how MC could determine which external port to use in the first place? It's randomized by my wireguard server.

Same issue here: https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=114995.0
Basically the access key cannot account for port translations.
In any case, disabling auto-reconnect at startup in JRemote2 has significantly reduced the headache of switching between local and remote addresses.
