Nope - as you, and everybody who has tried to develop a new skin has, discovered there are far too many undocumented incidences of links between different parts of the skin.
i.e you change something in one section only to find it has an unexpected effect, sometimes disastrous, elsewhere

TRUE - Something else you may, or may not, be aware of is the fact that there are Undocumented Parts of the Skin.

Like the Visualisations Selector that only ever appears when you are in the version of Display Mode that has the PlayerBar/Controls Always Visible
