JRiver 26 on Windows 10 HTPC. Hauppauge WinTv Quad card.   I mostly use theater mode.

Been using JRiver for my HTPC for few years now, paid member.  TV recording works 90% of the time, and I've been living with it. But last weekend, it failed to record nfl playoff, and it was annoying! Anyways, when it fails, there is a message flashing on the screen. Because, it doesn't stay on the screen, in the past I didn't notice it, but this time I noticed and took picture. Attached.

The error message indicates that there was a failure in building DirectShow graph, and it was caused by not being able to obtain a DirectShow interface.  This might be related to the hardware issues because at that stage, MC was not able to put the tuner in order.

Please turn on logging (in Help > Logging...).  As soon as you notice an issue, grab the log files and forward them to us.  Maybe (but no guarantee) I will find some clues.
