Title: TV Programmes not being recorded

Hi, we have the occasional situation where we can see that a programme is setup to record in the guide, and according to the tuner status is recording, but there is no sign of it anywhere else in MC.  Any ideas?  Photos attached of what we see.

If you look at your Recording Rules, do the failed recordings appear there, showing as 'Canceled' ?

No, we've had it where a recording rule is setup to record all showings, 2 episodes are broadcast back to back, before broadcast both show in "To be recorded".  At the time of broadcast, the 1st episode records fine, but the 2nd doesn't and there is then no evidence of it in the recording logs.

Recording rule ID 25874006 not recorded?

I wonder if the tuner got stuck.  Next time this happens, getting a log file might help.

Are you talking about the TV Logs in the television section?  I too have recordings that just don't record.  But there is nothing in the logs to indicate it even started, so maybe not the same problem.  And yet they did show up in the "To Be Recorded" section prior to the time slot.

I'm on MC28 right now, and plan to go to 29 soon.  So maybe not worth the effort yet, just wanted to say I was having similar issues, if not the same.

Kate & Koji should have recorded on 23/03/2022 @ 21:00 on channel 103 ITV HD for 30 minutes but has not.

Thanks for the log file.  I see there is indeed an issue.

The following is a possible fix.  Download, unzip, and copy JRTelevision.dll into MC installation folder.

JRTelevision.dll (https://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/test/JRTelevision28.zip).

Thanks, that's great news.  I've upgraded to 29 now, if the problem is still present there can you give me the file for that version?

Is this a general fix that will be incorporated into future versions of MC, or specific to the original poster only?
