Changed: Put the 8x resample done during DSD to PCM conversion in Audio Path.
There seems to be various problems in the Audio Path Display with different DSD formats. I attached it as screenshot but you can also have the .odp file. I tested it with 2(3) different DAC's.

Thanks for the report.
I'm not sure I'm able to reproduce any strange behavior. I'm playing DSD as PCM and the Audio Path seems correct.
Could you describe one simple test we could run? Thanks.
-
The simplest one is to play a DSD 128 file.
If played native (bitstreaming every think is fine) see screenshot.
If playing through DoP sample rate has a mismatch. ADI-2 DAC has DoP recognition and for DSD128 the sample rate should be 352.8 kHz but ADI-2 DAC shows 705.6 KHz. AudioPath shows 5.6 MHz.
Other example
If playing DSD 512 it seems that MC does DSD512->pcm->DSD256. Is that correct? Audiopath is saying it plays DSD 256.
If yes: Better should be: DSD 512 is larger as the value defined in the bit streaming option (up to DSD256)->convert DSD 512 to the sample rate specified in DSP output (e.g. > 705kHz->192 kHz). But that should be defined by you and the MC community how to handle it.

Here's what I see playing DoP. We report the correct rates.
-
Interesting - I will look at it why your DoP is different to mine.
-
Got now the same for DSD 128 using DoP. Also DSD 256 using DoP is ok. My fault. Very Sorry about it! I enabled DoP in the Device Driver but disabled bitstreaming.
-
Glad it's working. Thanks.
-
The other one is using the rme HDSPe card which is only capable of pcm:
It seems that MC does convert DSD to pcm 176,4 kHz, what should be the correct value.
But the output message seems to be wrong.
-
For DSD 128 the same:
-
DSD 256 is converted to 192 kHz.The output message is not correct:
-
It looks like the Output sample rate is off by a factor of 8 in these cases of conversion to PCM.
-
Thanks for the help.
Next build:
Fixed: During DSD to PCM conversion, the output sample rate reported by Audio Path could be off by 8x.

If I use DLNA to the Devialet and I enable Bitstream in the Advanced settings for the DLNA devices then the DAC must be capable to play all DSD formats. You can not set it up: DSD up to DSD64?
Also playing through DLNA fast forward has a very long lag.
