Title: Volume and Song Navigation Do Not Function When Streaming

I am posting this again, as I may have put my question in the wrong Subject.

I am new to JRiver and just downloaded.  “Volume” and ability to “navigate” within a song (move within song) work when I use Zone “Player” but when I use the JRemote App through my home stereo Denon streamer (Zone “Denon DNP-800”), the two functions do not work.  The"skip forward to next song" function does work, but not volume and navigate do not.  When I use iTunes App, the Volume does not work, but I can navigate within a song.  Does anyone know if I should be able to do volume and navigate using JRiver App?  Or do I just lose functionality of these two items (skip forward (to next song) works) when I try to send this to a streamer like my Denon?
