I'm trying to figure out why MC12 shows the names of the Internet radio track and artist in the program itself yet on the Theatre view it only shows the radio statio name.
I also want the name of the artist and track playing on the radio in NetRemote but it also only shows the radio station name. I'm guessing it's the same reason why it's only showing the name of the station in Theatre view. ? It's the same thing with Track Info... just shows the radio statio name.
Where the heck are the artist and track names... what is the field name that lets you display them? When I tried customising the main display it seems that the track and artist name are showing in the name field but when I use "Name" in Track Info it just shows the station name again... arrrghhhh >:(
Is there any way of getting MC12 to send the artist/trackname to NetRemote,Track Info and Theatre views?

I second this post

No response from the support team at all?
Surely this must be possible considering MC 12 already decodes the artist and album as it appears in the tiltle...

*bump*
This seems to still be an issue. (build 12.0.473)
I also use NetRemote - and the same issue passes down to that.
While I'm on the topic of Internet radio - whatever happened to the ability to associate an image with a radio stream??
-
This is a tricky issue, because there are really two sets of information for the same playing file.
We'll look at showing the second set in places other than Playing Now.

Ya know, the top disp/title bar can be config. and does a good job of disp. info.
Many moons ago, Glynor and I asked for an mcc command to do this.

If you have mouse functions on your remote, then you can bring down the top title/disp bar.
Keep the curser on the edge of your screen
and then when you want to see it, then press the mouse arrow that direction.
hope this helps
