Post by: Matt on March 05, 2010, 03:53:20 pm
This is the latest version of Media Jukebox 14.0.

IMPORTANT: The feature set of the early builds of Media Jukebox 14 may change.  The goal is to provide an equivalent feature set to Media Jukebox 12, but with all of the updates, improvements and optimizations of the core Media Center 14 engine.

Please post bugs here.  Please start a new thread for anything requiring discussion.  Non-bug posts will be deleted or moved.

Media Jukebox can be downloaded here:

Any way to import my podcast subscriptions from MJ 12 without having to manually reload?

Search for podcast.xml.  It will be in the MJ equivalent of

C:\Documents and Settings\JimH\Application Data\J River\Media Center 15\Library

It may work to swap files.

It did to get the feeds.  Didn't recognize downloaded content from the old version.

(BTW, Win 7 paths are different.  It was: C:\Users\Andy\AppData\Roaming\J River\Media Jukebox 12\podcasts.xml "

Thanks, though.

An important feature to me that I don't seem to see in the new version it tempo/pitch adjustment.  I like to speed up a lot of podcasts to 1.2-1.4x speed.  In MJ12, tempo worked for mono podcasts but had some weird issue that caused stereo podcasts to sound out of phase when sped up.  I don't see tempo as a DSP effect in MJ14.  Are there plans to add that, or is there a good plugin that would do it?

<Cough> Um, a new build would be nice, only a day and a half before this one (156) timeouts

Any idea when this build will be updated? Mine says 'timeout 04/30/2010' and when checking for updates, I get 'No updates available at this time'. Does this mean this version will stop working at 04/30/2010? I am quite fond of this application since it has everything I need to play and edit my music library. Would surely miss it if it stops working.
