questions:

1) how do I clear the association with a user account so that can link to another one?

2) any way to change the formatting (e.g. to automatically insert our own hashtags, etc.)?

Would it a possible to have the tweet sent to the copy buffer instead of launching the browser?  I use tweetdeck for a twitter client and would like to be able to paste the tweet and send it.

You could try the 'Copy Listening To' command if you want to place the text on the clipboard instead of Tweet it.

The Twitter option is designed to easily submit the text directly to Twitter.
