I have hardly posted at all on this forum but have been using both the PC and now Mac versions of MC since v15.

I just wanted to give a huge shout out to the JRiver team for this product - which I feel is by far the best all-around audio player out there - for either platform (and yes I do know all about all of the other "high-end" players).

I am currently flying at 36,000 feet over the Atlantic ocean with full access to my music collection on my Mac-Mini that's located in my living room and listening to whatever my little 'ole heart desires.

How freaking cool it that?!?!?!

Thank you so much JRiver!! Media center/network rules.

What section of the Wiki do I need to read to learn how to set my system up for remote access such as the OP described?

mwheelerk - Check the wiki portion that pertains to Media Network. The details are all there but in short you will need to set up the server in media center and most like also configure your router for port forwarding. Not very difficult and well explained in the wiki documentation.
