Title: How to change the top pane of playing now?
Post by: eagebhart on October 13, 2014, 08:34:46 pm

I've seen other displays of what is playing, in the playing now window. But I can't see how to change it.
This post shows a display that I cannot find.

http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/How_Playing_Now_Works

I have a lot of cover art that is not easy to read, and it would be nice to have something like the display in the article above,
where song, album artist, artist and album are displayed as text next to the cover art.

It seems like this should be configurable, since everything under the sun in JRiver is completely configurable.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,

Eric

That is a "Track Info" display I believe.

If you right click in the Playing Now screen, Hover on Track Info, and click on one of the presets on the right.

Track info isn't an option.

Double clicking I get a menu with three options.  Display view, more, cover art style.

Display View

More -> standard view
             Mini view
             Display View
             Cover view

Cover art style -> Plain
                           Drop Shodow
                           Rotated

Well it looks like the Track Info might not be available in the Mac version at this time. I do not personally run the Mac version, maybe someone else can confirm.
