MakeMKV works doesn't it?

Does it actually work for decryption (without copying) so that discs can simply be played back as was the question asked?

NP on the compressed file.

Good news is that it does look like it is showing all the supported options of the UltraStudio and you are successfully setting the Ultrastudio to change to a particular format.

MakeMKV works doesn't it? Maybe DVDFab too if that's still around.

Apparently, we've seen the last of AnyDVD HD, as this site's been closed at least since July. https://www.redfox.bz/
Some discussions https://www.reddit.com/r/AnyStream/comments/1dqgvd9/are_people_able_to_still_use_redfox_software/

Also here https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/rip-anydvd-hd-from-slysoft-redfox.2620654/#post-41350006 , and please note Chane's (me) post today.

So, what, if any, alternative software are there for playing 1080p BDs via JRiver?

2. Changed: Updated JRVR HDR pass-through for Windows 11 24H2 to better support automatically enabling HDR mode, if needed.

Thanks for that one, fixed it for me  :D

In the bass management section of  DSP room correction, I am able to select the cross-over slope, but the drop-down for routing is greyed out.  Also, cannot route bass for RR and RL speakers.  Different skins don't have an impact.

How can I specify the bass routing?

Thanks for the details. It sounds like TrackInfo on a client is possible but not easy.  And, right now, it is not even at option on the client.

The reason to have TrackInfo on a client when used as a remote, is that the UI the person is using to play the music is on the client. That is what the user is looking at. In my case, I use a laptop when sitting in a chair across the room from the server. The display I see and use is on the client. I don't see what is happening on the server. My server does have a screen, but some people run their servers as basically headless systems.

Thanks for your insight.

Sorry, I'm late responding....   This is same as my use case.
Thanks for the detailed explanation @EnglishTiger and help from @dtc

Thanks Yaobing.  Had a play, and kinda weird and I've attached a log that should how
- 1st Play: Using the BMD filter.  The pop up boxs came up (which they should not as this one is all automatic and does not need manual config).  You can select anything, then after OK, the UltraStudio changes to the correct format and I get Video and Audio just fine.  On stop, it leaves the UltraStudio in that format.
I will refine it so it will not be done for WDM devices.

- 2nd Play: Using the Decklink Driver.  No matter what resolution I selected, the UltraStudio is put into 1080p mode.  This of course only gives me an image if I'm sending 1080p and a black screen if I'm sending UHD.

I hoped this would work.  Will look at the logs.

PS - Windows freaked about the RAR file.  Claimed it was a "severe" threat! :)  Seems I lived.

Sorry about that. I will use ZIP next time.
