Configure Media Center to be a Sound Device
« on: November 17, 2015, 06:40:28 pm »

In reading a forum post a few days ago I remembered seeing instructions on how to set up Media Center so that it will show as a playback device in Windows thus allowing one to play anything from the internet like a youtube video or streaming song through Media Center and thus to any UPnP configured device.

If someone could point me to where the set-up info for that, I would greatly appreciate it. I tried a dozen searches using different word combinations and have struck out.

Thanks!

Turn on the WDM driver here:
Options > General > Features > WDM Driver

Then Media Center will appear as a sound device to your system.

Such a cool feature I have been looking for in a player forever and thought should be simple to incorporate. Thanks!
