Can anyone indicate whether or not it's advantageous from a throughput perspective to have an installed hard drive in the Id, or a USB 3.0-connected external drive? I'm inclined to get the model with the smallest internal storage possible, and allow for the expandability of my music collection. Would this be a bad idea performance-wise?
