MJTSFileWriter.ax
« on: July 19, 2016, 03:10:08 pm »

I am getting intermittent error notifications that MJTSFileWriter .ax needs to be [initialized or something], and that MJTSWriterFilter wasn't [able to be invoked or something]. One of the error messages says I need to run Media Center at least one time as a Power User. I installed and operated MediaCenter as an Administrotor, which I expect would be enough. I'm using Theater mode and Bitdefender AV if that makes a difference. Should I try removing and reinstalling? or is there some manual way to clean up the issue?

This component needs to be registered on an initial TV playback.  Once done, it should not ask again, unless you switch between different versions of MC.  Each time you switch, it will pop up.

Thanks! Maybe I should have played some live TV after installing MC22 to initialize it. Just to be sure, I uninstalled MC22 and reinstalled it with Bitdefender turned off, then updated my Bitdefender process exclusions from v21 to V22. Seems fine now, I'll see if I get another message.
