YADB produces wrong track listing.

I'll ask again.
What do I do if YADB recognises my CD as the wrong CD?  Ie the tracklisting for a different album. Can up submit the correct data that will overwrite the old?

I thought the benefit of the YADB over CDDB was that it was under the control of J River and therefore less likely to come up with this sort of error. What should I do J River? Submit the correct track listing?

Post the details here and we'll check it.  However, with user entered data, it will never be perfect.

Thanks, the CD I have is by Bonnie Prince Billie - Master and Everyone (track listing below)

The CD it comes up with is by the Gobetweens - Bright Yellow, Bright Orange.

Hi Skeet,

Yes - please enter the data for the new CD.

Sometimes YADB cannot tell the difference between two CDs. In this case, the go-betweens CD looked right to YADB because it didn't know about Bonnie Prince Billie. After you enter it, next time you'll get a choice of the two.

I don't know if you follow some of the things that go on over at HA, but this is an interesting way for a look up as well. You should probably connect to his site from this thread for more details on what the goals are.

PS- Not that there is anything wrong with YADB. Just a different way to accomplish the same thing.

S p o o n s way of checking for cds.

*this software to edit certain words is a little aggressive, isn't it?*

It may not be the "s", but rather the remaining 4 letters that cause the problem.

S-P-O-O-N is a slang term for "simpleton" (Not a very Bright person)

there are many other terms for the word

But such words are not allowed ??
Do not look like very strong or very impolite.

On forum in french ,any word remains ,strong 4 letters words or not.

F.. is very very impolite and french do not use it often
But S..,and words like it are used everywhere by anyone even by ministers from the gouvernement when speaking on TV
