Possible Bug?  Amazon WMA Stream Crashes MC9.
« on: July 29, 2003, 12:42:57 pm »

While testing RA streams, I decided to give Amazon's WMA stream a go and they crash MC each time.

Example stream:  http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/clipserve/B00004T0VR001001/1/002-5535535-5935229

I tried several other Amazon streams and they all crash MC with no error box or anything.

Anyone else encounter this?

Can Windows Media player play the WMA streams?  Maybe something with your internet or Windows Media codec is bad.

(it's working for me)

WMP can play the stream without a problem.  I went ahead and upgraded to WMP9, re-installed my sound driver (SB Audigy), and the 9.1.225 of MC and it still crashes.

It gets the link and buffers just fine but right before it starts to play, MC crashes.
