Hi

I created a new tag for Subgenre (see earlier post) but I am now having a problem creating a smart playlist that selects on Genre Or Subgenre.

Using the add Smart list if I add Genre contains Electronic and Subgenre contains Electronica the actual playlist ANDs these together to create a very small playlist. I am after adding these to selections as an OR, can anybody help and advise how to do this please? (it is easy in WMP just use "and also include", does JRiver have an equivalent?)

([genre]="electronic" or [subgenre]="electronica")

You can use the "import/export" to paste the string above into your rule set.

Thanks Marko, I have got my OR logic working fine now in my smart playlists, just have to work though entering the 100+ auto playlists from my WMP. I will be able to rework some of them as JRiver has better features for creating smart playlists.
