Carnac not working with 4 digit seasons?

Just imported a show with the pattern series.SxxxExx.date.name and the results from Carnac were:
Name: series.Sname
Series: blank
Season: blank
Episode: blank
Date: used the episode number for the month, the 1st to digits of 'date' for the day, and the last 2 digits of 'date' for the year.

Is that expected? I could have sworn I have imported similar titles in past builds and it worked as expected.
