Upgrading to master license
« on: February 09, 2017, 08:54:59 am »

Several months ago, I tried upgrading from mc21 to the master license so I could use mc on my mac. I did something wrong, I think I ended up buying another copy of mc21 instead of the master license. Please help.

Under the email address you're using for the forum, you've bought a 21 Windows and 22 Windows license.

Thanks!

If you want a master instead, you can use your 22 Windows license for a cheaper upgrade.

thatl explains it. I was trying to upgrade from mc21 to master. not to mc22.  I've never used to 22. How do I correct that?

the restore thing says I have 10 restores left for mc21 and 9 for mc22. That suggests that I HAVE used 22 before even though I don't remember. THis is all very confusing (and expensive). I was happy with mc21. I really was trying to upgrade to a master license. Is there anything you can do?

since I really can't see any difference between the two versions, is it possible for you to take away the mc22 key and give me a 21 master key?

No.  Sorry.

You can just install MC22 (if you haven't) and then restore your MC22 license.

ok. I've done that. I still can't appreciate any new features. How/where can I find out what the upgrades are?

The SoX resampler, Panel, listening test and improved memory playback options are some of the big updates in MC 22.

ok. thanks. I saw the upgrades in the forum as soon as I asked you about them. I still feel like I deserve a master license, but since that was my mistake I guess I'll let that go. You guys have to make money and this is a great product, I get that. Last thing. This would be the world's best app if it was available in the app store or the play store. Any plans on making this available for ipads and droid gadgets?
