23.0.13 (6/26/2017)

1. Changed: Removed the "Video renderer (with integrated decoding)" choice from custom DirectShow graph configuration, since madVR dropped support for this mode long ago.
2. Changed: Red October HQ uses LAV Video's "DXVA2 Copy-Back" hardware acceleration on AMD video cards.
3. Fixed: Saving the currently playing tracks as a Car Radio Playchart didn't create a Playchart that corresponded to the original files (you'll have to save again to make it start working).
4. Changed: Carnac will strip any leading zeroes off the season and episode at import time.
5. Changed: Updated Greek translation (thanks Panagiotis).

Fixed: When doing DLNA rendering of "wav" files (not L24 or L16), MC was doing an expensive internet open/read/close operation (twice) to check for exotic "wav" files containing compressed data that need the video engine. Now we only do this for local files.  Caused hesitation between tracks on slow devices like ID's.

Still have the "black screen" when starting an HD tv channel with hardware acceleration enabled in ROS.

ROHQ does work correctly in my AMD video equipped machine. Not yet installed 23.0.13 on my NUC...

downloading tv show metadata when using dvd preferred order fails to download properly  and seems to mess up my tags.   if i uncheck that option data downloads correctly

tested with several shows.  this is with 23.0.13

That's probably a video driver problem.

tested with several shows.  this is with 23.0.13

an update on this: after checking out The TV Database, it seems when changing to DVD order for these shows, there is missing data for the episode and season #; other series I just tried where this data was present seemed to update ok.

Experiencing video jitter to the point of image freeze but audio continues. Same file plays well using v22.

Tried installing but cant get it to work, started with subversion 8 and just tried subversion 13.

When I try and play live tv or existing recorded files I get a black screen plus "adding required components" it then goes away and comes back a few times and then gives the invalid decoder filter or output pin message.

I have disabled AV scanning
I have a 200Mb+ downstream connection so no issue with connections to net.
I have tried running as administrator on the install

If I go back to MC22 it all works perfectly...

Can we get manual links to the additional components so I can try that route?

If it is a problem with antivirus, then disabling it may not be sufficient.  You need to uninstall the AV to find out if it is the problem.

I believe you're saying that MC installs OK, but the failure occurs when you try to watch video.

Sounds to me like it failed to download the dependency. A firewall or AV might do that.
Manual downloads are not possible, as MC would still try to install the dependency, since it couldn't verify the version.
