Radio-like streaming services
« on: December 23, 2017, 12:08:56 pm »

I don't know that this is worthwhile at all, but my .02, as someone who has a large collection of physical media, a large collection of digital media and who streams a lot. (Music/audio that is. Not much of a TV user.)

I gravitate toward "radio-like" services, in the same way that an earlier generation listened to records and FM. As a half step, it would be good if MC implemented more of the radio-like streaming services now available - since Pandora and Slacker have on-demand elements, they're probably out, but you could add AccuRadio and Jazz/ClassicalRadio for starters. TuneIn, of course.

This would not solve the big issues surrounding MC and streaming, but it would help folks like me who still want to own a lot of their music while sampling what else is out there.

Already there Scott. Read this post and thread, then start searching for more info.
