Bitstreaming DSD not work with CD-S2100
« on: August 13, 2017, 11:37:36 am »

Hello all,

I was used Audirvana Plus for playing DSD files through CD-S2100 Yamaha for streaming DSD files from QNAP, is good until I upgraded QNAP firmware, Audirvana did not recognize albums. I bought Media Center 23 but I couldn't play DSD files with Bitstreaming DSD.

MiniMServer is ok because I can play DSD Files with my Yamaha WC-50 Streamer.

Some body can help me please?

You are doing this on a Mac, right?
Your DAC is connected to the Mac via USB?
You have bitstreaming turned on the MC's audio options?

Does your DAC support DoP encoded DSD (the only thing the Mac supports)?

Make sure you have DSD bitstreaming enabled. Also, you might have to open up the Audio MIDI Setup app within the Mac and set the output of your DAC to the highest bit-depth/sample rate available. For some reason that's needed with some DACs to get DSD bitstreaming working.
