Is there any way to LOG the Media Network Server Activity
« on: November 05, 2017, 12:35:51 am »

I'm running MC19 on three pc's with Win 10 and having daily hanging problems for over a month. My network appears to be running fine 24/7, but somehow MC hangs up at least once per day. I just need to End Task it with Task Manager, restart it and it works again for another few hours. I found that the Media Network Activity log is continually running the Device Discovery Server (SSDP) and would like to capture that log to see if it helps me find the problem. Is there a way to capture this Activity Log?

TIA

You could do this with a capturing program called WireShark if you really want to. But it’s quite technical. So it might be easier if you first try to explain your symptoms, and see if we can figure it out that way first.. What is your network configuration? Routers, Ethernet, WiFi.. What devices are on the network, via which connection etc. What OS, firewall, antivirus etc.?
