Connected Media error
« on: December 11, 2017, 03:38:20 pm »

Using Media Centers 23 64 bit, started using Amazon Prime music, and tried Gizmo for phone control.  Now whenever I open Media Center, it displays a box called Connected Media wants me to make  a selection and I can not make box close, except by holding down Control key and hitting cancel 10 or 15 times in rapid succession, then it will cancel but program won't just sits, looking like it is trying to start something, but cannot select anything, have to use task manager to end program.  Do I have to uninstall the program and re-install and not use amazon prime music? Thank you

Have tried re installing media center twice.  Same problem. It is when using amazon prime music, it hangs.  If it does start, it will always be unstable and displays error message, that it did not shut down correctly and to re install.  Seems like an endless loop.

I'm not sure that Amazon Prime Music works with MC.

It was playing okay for a few days, I started getting the connected media box and you could not exit that box, you had to ctrl alt del use task manager to exit. Then sometimes the program would work, sometimes error out. Now after uninstalling Jriver23 and re-install amazon will come up using the media links, one song will play and then error comes up from amazon that not available now try again later.  If amazon prime music not supported, perhaps that would be something to think about, streaming music is a large audience,  Thank you

It's not supported, and I wouldn't honestly hold my breath on it being supported. Why? Like so many (more like all now, actually) other streaming services out there, Amazon Prime Music doesn't have an open and free API for developers to use.
