Tagging via CD but not ripping.
« on: February 14, 2018, 11:49:51 am »

Is there any way to handle (c) or (d)? If not can I make a feature request?

a) I have an album burnt from a CD but they have not been tagged properly.
b) A solution would be to delete the files and rerip the CD but this is time consuming.
c) Could I put in a CD and copy the tags identified from the CD to these files, so I don't have to wait for a rerip?
d) Even better perhaps I could just look it up without having to put in the CD? (Like (c) here but do a query rather than put in CD).

Thanks!

a) Okay
b) Correct
c) No
d) Yes, by looking up the Album, files, or groups of files on YADB, via the lookup online functionality. But a third party tool would be better. In my opinion and experience.
