Purchased MC 24 master license, but every time I check for updates it says new version available?

Currently, an MC24 license covers both MC23 and MC24, as MC24 is still in private beta and does not have a public release yet.
JRiver recently enabled notifications about the new release in previous versions when the updater is run. However, that fails to check whether the license currently in use is also valid for MC24.
I'm hoping that they fix it soon.
