Obviously is an issue.
For me a very important one.
Appears when the program is closing anyway.
Annoying, as sometimes it's needed to finalize the task with brute force.

The situation is that it appears ""Saving tag changes" but it doesn't show the number of remaining tasks.
Then is released the screen, while tasks are still running in background.
This is good as the user can continue doing other tasks.

Problem is
The user loose contact with those tasks ... and it don't know if this have ended successfully.
If for any reason the program is finished... remaining tasks will appear without unloading the program from memory.
In my case those task never reach an end... then it's needed to finalize the task (brute force)
some files remain without changes, then it's need to investigate what goes wrong in those background tasks

Kindly fix it, please... for instance showing some where that there are still tasks running. before finish MC.

In fact there is no real issue.
The problem is a lack of information about the state of the batch of modifications that have been issued.
Probably other issue can be that MC 24 takes longer to process the modifications.

A simple screen showing how that batch is going could be enough (no idea if that screen exists indeed)
xxx modifications sent... xxx modifications ended. That's all.

For the moment, just be patient and look the files from time to time to see if the red sign on the left have changed. (red circle = not available).

It will end sooner or later.
Do not finish the program because the modifications will stop being processed. then brute force.

Are talking about the message "Done Saving Tag Changes" which appears in my status bar at the bottom of my screen.
I just changed a 100 records and the status bar showed me the progress of how many remaining. 
For me it seems to display correctly ?

If you interact with Media Center at all, the status seems to disappear entirely now. It used to only disappear temporarily.
I'd really like to see that status moved into the sidebar, like other operations such as conversions and import.

I agree: when you interact with Media Center, the status bar disappears entirely now.
