Wrong image for Front album view despite correct tag ?
« on: July 11, 2018, 04:32:44 am »

I did retag all my library with a dedicated software (correct artist name, album image, ...etc) with the cover album image embbedded into each audio file, Then I rebuilt from start a new JRiver Library (MC24).

Everything is perfect exept for a few album where I have the wrong image displayed as cover (The image is related to the albumų but it displays the back view or the disk view instead of the cover view)
.
When I check directly in the folder the correct Front image is effectivly embedeed into the audio files.

How can I solve this (little) problem ?

You may have more than one image in the file, select Tag on one of these odd tracks and do a tag dump (bottom of the tag window, it will tell you there how many images are embedded in the file.
Edit this doesn.t work with mp3 files.

@swiv3d => Thanks for making me discovering "tag dump"  ...
Effectivly I have 2 (or even 3) images embedded in 1 audio file ...

What should I do in order to have only one image embedded ?

What is the purpose of having several images embedded into 1 audio file ?

There is no value in having lots of images in the file. Unfortunately the best way to remove the ones you don't want is to download mp3tag (free) and delete unwanted images in that.
