Low ATSC signal causes MC crash with older version
« on: July 15, 2018, 09:39:24 pm »

I'm wondering if this was fixed in MC23?

I'm still using MC22 (final version) and a low ATSC TV signal from the antenna - which visually causes wild pixelation with massive sudden visual changes - in other words, a very unwatchable picture - causes MC to crash (with a small dialog box on the screen informing one of this event).

If this was fixed in MC23, that would be interesting to know, and if not, then it should be added to the list of bugs to be fixed someday (since the software should not crash merely due to low signal).

Thanks!

There have been a lot of fixes/improvements in MC23 and MC24, but I do not remember anything specifically related to what you refer to.
