Audioquest Dragonfly settings
« on: November 21, 2018, 02:36:32 pm »

I own an old dragonfly V2 dac. I have upgraded to MC24 and am getting a lot of pops and clicks on playback. Can anyone tell me what the settings in MC24 should be for this device?

Help please

Try adjusting the buffers.

Way back there were issues with the Dragonfly and Windows 8 - at one point Audioquest were claiming it worked with all pcs, yet hid a disclaimer on their website excluding Windows 8. It was sufficiently bad for me to get a refund on my Dragonfly. But you can mess with buffer sizes, background process priorities etc.. Here is the original thread
