MC24 Won't Install

Hi there, I’ve been using mc16 and recently reinstalled it in windows 10, with no problems. However, I’ve tried to install the download of mc24, but it won’t run! It unpacks, and the user account control asks if it can run the program, but after clicking “yes”, nothing happens! I’ll be grateful for any help on this.
