No sound from rear speakers (Nforce2)
« on: May 24, 2003, 02:27:36 pm »

I am not getting any sound from my rear speakers now with Media Center.  It used to work fine.  I tried the different settings in the Output section of the Playback options but none of them made a difference.  I can load up Windows Media Player and the rear speakers work fine with it.  I have an ASUS A7N8X Deluxe running Logitech Z-680's through the coax digital out.  I have the Soundstorm settings correctly configured to digital out with 6 speakers.

Figured it out.  Somehow Output Format in DSP Studio was unchecked.  After checking that and having it set to 5.1 it works.
