Movie Grouping
« on: March 21, 2019, 07:46:48 pm »

I group movies using the series option. I want to know if there is a way to make groups inside of groups? So all my James Bond movies would be in the James Bond group but then I would like to further group them up by actor inside of the James Bond group. Something Like this:

                  > Roger Moore    > Live and Let Die
                                           > The Man with the Golden Gun
James Bond > Pierce Brosnan > Tomorrow Never Dies
                  > Daniel Craig     > Skyfall
                                            > Casino Royale

You could create a new field called something like "Bond Actor" and then tag the Bond films with the appropriate actor and then in Theater View set up your view so it's:

Movie>Series>Bond Actor>

That should do the trick.

[Series] = "James Bond"
[Season] = Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan, or Daniel Craig
[Name] = movie name

Then use the TVInfo() functions to group in the same way the "Shows" View groups TV programs.

It could be done in other ways, but that is the simplest.
