Hello,

I am testing v25 done as on upgrade to my v24 install. I noticed some oddities today from Reporter - specifically with audio analysis data (see attachment)

All of my files (FLAC) were previously analyzed and display their audio data correctly in the UI - but why does Reporter say almost no files have been analyzed?

Is this value written following Auto-Import (either automatically or manually)?

I do all my audio analysis manually when preparing files for the library so I do not usually have "Analyze audio for audio files" switch on in Settings->Library and Folders->Auto-import.

As a test - I switched it on and fired up a manual audio import for a minute or two and as you can see in the attachment - I now have a small number being reported (189)

Does this Reporter value matter in the grand scheme of things? I would rather not have "Analyze audio for audio files" set to on if it slows down the import.

Appreciate any input.

Cheers!

My guess is that what you are seeing is the result of the recent change to include HDCD in the audio analysis.  There are other threads on this issue.  I would either drop back to an earlier version of MC25 or wait for the HDCD issues to be worked out.

Understood. I saw a few threads earlier. Might have to stick with .59 for now

Thanks!
