Cloudplay - no volume to DLNA device
« on: June 25, 2019, 11:53:37 pm »

My new MC25 install works perfectly in every respect except any tracks from CloudPlay, Radio JRiver or any source listed in Streaming have no volume if playing to DLNA renderer. I'm stumped.

Many thanks RoderickGI.

The takeaway for me is streaming is hit and miss right now and JRiver is working on it. If it's of any help, streams from MC25 display correctly (track name, format and bitrate) on my renderer (Melco N1-A) but the tracks are "frozen" and do not play.

It's working well now, but playback to network devices isn't fully implemented.  We're making steady progress.

Cloudplay to a network device is setting the audio volume slider to zero - so the playing bar moves as it should and the renderer shows the correct track details but no sound is emitted from the speakers. You cannot change the volume setting of the slider from it's zero position.

Yes - I wonder if one of the dev team for cloudplay could look into it?
