I have just enabled WDM, (Win 10, MC25) following instructions posted here, however after subsequently  disabling  WDM  (options-general-features-WDM) I have no sound output from the PC whatsoever. (ie not using MC) I tried to correct this within windows settings, but find that the option to choose an output device in windows settings is now blank. Going to advanced settings  Any advice would be appreciated!

Update. The old solution of switching off and on again seems to have restored the sound and the option of speakers/headphones (realtek audio) has reappeared in the sound settings option box. Strange behaviour, I hope this may help others who may experience this
